train service is temporarily suspended in both directions between 149 St - Grand Concourse and 125 St.

train service is suspended in both directions between Chambers St and Atlantic Av - Barclays Ctr.

For service along Lexington Av line, take a train.

For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn use an or train.

Makes no sense.

There are delays and multiple impacts to and trains in both directions because we removed third-rail power so FDNY can respond to a report of smoke at Lexington Av/59 St.

There is no service on the line between 57 St - 7 Av and Queensboro Plaza in either direction:
-In Manhattan,  trains are running on the line between 57 St - 7 Av and 96 St in both directions.
-In Queens, trains are running as a shuttle between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria - Ditmars Blvd.

trains are running on the line in both directions between 36 St (Queens) and Lexington Av/63 St and on the  line to/from 57 St - 7 Av. There is no service on the line between 57 St - 7 Av and 36 St (Queens).

Expect delays in , ,  , and  service in both directions. 

Alternatives:

For service between Queens and Manhattan:
-Use service: In Manhattan, transfer between and trains at Times Sq - 42 St. In Queens, transfer between and trains at Queensboro Plaza. Transfer between  and trains at Jackson Hts - Roosevelt Av. 
-Take rerouted trains to/from Lexington Av/63 St, where and rerouted and service is available.

For service to/from Lexington Av/59 St, use Lexington Av/63 St, where , and rerouted / service is available.  

For service to/from 5 Av/59 St, travel to nearby 57 St, where rerouted service is available. 

For service along the line in Queens between Queensboro Plaza and 30 Av, consider using Q102 bus service.
-From 39 Av - Dutch Kills, consider taking Q104 buses to/from 46 St - Bliss St .

I didn't see anything where this involving 53 Street so the  and  has nothing to do with this scenario.

It was on a weekend so a GO may have been in effect that closed 53rd Street.

There is no  or  train service between Broad Channel and Rockaway Park - Beach 116 St because of a power issue causing malfunctioning signals in the Rockaway Park Tower.

There is no service between 149 St - Grand Concourse and Woodlawn because someone was struck by a train at 170 St.
If you’re waiting for a train in the Bronx, take a  train.
If you’re waiting for a Brooklyn-bound train on the East Side of Manhattan, here are your options:
Take a train to Broadway-Lafayette St for service.
Take a train to 14 St - Union Sq, then take an or train. You can also take the  train to 6 Av, then transfer to a train. 
Take a  train to Fulton St, then transfer to an train or train.

Multiple Impacts

There are delays and multiple impacts to  train service while we work to correct a signal problem near Chambers St. 

Some southbound  trains will run on the  line from W 4 St - Wash Sq to Jay St - MetroTech.

Some southbound  trains will run via the express track from 59 St - Columbus Circle to Canal St.

For missed stations, take a northbound local  or  train.

Southbound  trains will run on the express track from Hoyt - Schermerhorn Sts to Euclid Av while we work to correct a switch problem near Hoyt - Schermerhorn Sts.

Transfer to a northbound  train for skipped stations.

Some northbound trains will end at Atlantic Av - Barclays Ctr.

trains are stopping along the line from Nevins St to 149 St - Grand Concourse in both directions.

Some southbound trains will end at 3 Av - 138 St.

Expect delays in , , and train service in both directions.  

Customers are strongly advised to consider taking alternate subway lines until we can restore regular service along the Lexington Av line.
