Part Suspended

There is no service in either direction on the (A)(C)(E) lines between 59 St-Columbus Circle and W 4 St-Wash Sq while we remove power so NYPD can investigate a report of an unauthorized person on the tracks near 50 St.

Northbound (B)(D) trains will end at 34 St-Herald Sq and return southbound for service.

Consider travel alternatives, such as nearby (1)(2)(3) lines.

I'm guessing they also cut power at 7th Avenue-53rd.

They could have had the (B) and (D) continue to 42nd and end there.

That's where they would actually turn, since the switches are between 34th and 42nd. Not sure why they would have to discharge at 34th.

With the amount of times a work train has gotten stuck on the bridge, you'd think they stop sending them on the freaking bridge...

Probably the worst decision they made with changing the name. What was wrong with Lower East Side??

I feel like the addition of neighborhood names to the terminal stations (which 2nd Ave used to be when the (V) ran) just never caught on with most riders, so Transit seems to have gone back to just using the cross street name.

We've had proposals for this to be a regular service.

So many people on here were preaching over the years about how great CBTC on Queens Boulevard would be, but now that it's here, it runs like total shit.  Why am I not surprised? I wonder if it's going to take as many years to iron out as the issues on the (L)

Yep, and there was a 13-minute wait for a northbound (N) or (Q) train at Canal St today. The second day in a row with a big gap in service at rush (yesterday’s wait was 11 minutes).  And no announcements of any kind. Same old MTA. Had to take an (R) or (W) and came within seconds of missing my connecting express bus at 36th and 6th.

Brighton Line and Culver Line are both knocked out:

Part Suspended

There is no (F) service between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in either direction because of a signal malfunction between 18 Av and Church Av.

Some southbound (F) trains are stopping along the (D) line from W 4 St-Wash Sq to Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

See a station agent for a courtesy pass to continue your trip on nearby bus routes. See bt.mta.info for real-time bus arrivals.

Multiple Impacts

There is limited (B)  (Q) service between Manhattan and Brooklyn in both directions while our crews make repairs to a rail Prospect Park.

Some southbound (B) trains will end at 2 Av on the (F) line and return northbound for service.

Some southbound (Q) trains will end at Times Sq-42 St

Some southbound (Q) trains are stopping along the (N) line from DeKalb Av to Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

EDIT: Six minutes after service was restored on the Culver Line, there's another incident at Ditmas Avenue:

Trains Rerouted

Northbound (F) trains are stopping along the (D) line from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to Broadway-Lafayette St because of FDNY activity at Ditmas Av.

For service to/from bypassed stations, use southbound (F) service.

Delays

(F) trains have resumed service between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av in both directions following an earlier signal malfunction between 18 Av and Church Av.

Continue to expect significant delays as we work to get trains back on schedule.

The BMT is in shambles. The Culver line is closed due to signal problems and the West End line is also having signal problems.

Actually, last I checked it was more than just signal problems along Culver, I saw a video about it catching on fire.
