SEPTA Farewell to the Silverliners

Recommended Posts

I've never ridden one of them. Wish I had. It's the train I think of when I think of SEPTA.

Well it's end of an era, i am actually not that upset. I have more than rode the silverliners at least a dozen times since my first visit to Philly in 1981. I am sure a museums will have that for years to come. Please no hate mail from railfans lol but i am looking foward to riding for the next while, the Silverline 5's.

At least I got to ride the SV II/III's in Center City up to Temple U, I may end up going back down before they're really gone, still need a full length ride.
