Question about (F) train announcements

Is it just me or are the (F) train announcements pronounced waaaay faster than those of the other lines? Even when the (F) is running local it's pronounced soooo fast.

That's because the lady doing the announcements spoke the stations, destinations, etc. very fast. Apparently, whatever quality control the (MTA) has for these recordings (if one actually exists, that is) didn't mind or care that the (F) announcements are quite fast in comparison to the other lines.

 

On a personal note, I prefer these ones over the slower than molasses announcements on some of the lines, like the (E), (G) and (M) or the various reroute destination announcements.

Diane does all the announcements she does fast.

I've noticed that for years. I guess the MTA is trying different types of speed for better communication with the passengers?
