RPTA Posted June 7, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 7, 2012 If you would pick one airliner as the most beautiful, which would it be? I personally think the most beautiful aircraft of all is the Pink Delta 767-400ER (N845MH):
traildriver Posted June 8, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2012 To my eyes, the most beautiful airliner of all time is the iconic Lockheed Super Constellation, model 1049.
Orion VII 4 Life Posted June 8, 2012 Share #3 Posted June 8, 2012 Any JetBlue A320 works for me (I love JetBlue lol). But, as far as planes with unique liveries different from the rest of the fleet go, I do like the Continental 737-900 with the vintage livery. Saw it land at EWR once, I thought at first it was really an old plane. I wonder if it's still in service now that CO is United and all the planes now have the new United livery, at least all the ones I see when I drive past EWR. traildriver Posted June 8, 2012 Share #4 Posted June 8, 2012 I also like the Douglas DC-8-61 or -63. With their very long length, and relatively small tail, they almost resemble a train. Especially if you happen to drive thru a highway underpass while they happen to be taxiing over. The Airbus A340-600 is similar.....
traildriver Posted June 8, 2012 Share #5 Posted June 8, 2012 I also like any airline that produces a 'heritage' livery. I like that retro AA 737 in the 'Astrojet' livery......

SoSpectacular Posted June 8, 2012 Share #7 Posted June 8, 2012 That Peter Max livery on one of Continental's 777s was badass, I saw it one time at Newark years ago on a family trip. I'll never forget that plane!

Roadcruiser1 Posted June 9, 2012 Share #11 Posted June 9, 2012 Hands down it is the Concorde and the Tupolev Tu-144. No jet in the world looks as good as they are. Tupolev Tu-144 Concorde

SoSpectacular Posted June 9, 2012 Share #13 Posted June 9, 2012 Never was much a fan of the Concorde, although they were pretty unique for what they could truly do, supersonic flight basically. Bu I'll take my beloved wide-body commercial airliners any day of the week
C40LFR Posted June 12, 2012 Share #14 Posted June 12, 2012 Narrow Body: 757-300 Wide Body: MD-11 I think The Airbus A330 is probably the ugliest.
