How much is a lot? How much is busy?

And there are numerous subway stations that have buses going to areas without a subway. Too many to list, in fact.

NEXT

What are the only lines to not directly pass or terminate at its yard?

1, A lot is like above 10. Busy means it is one of the top 100 stations in ranking of ridership. I know that it's to much but I want see some possible answers.

wow, that's a lot of stations. Well, let's see: All of the local stations along the Lexington Ave. line with the exception of 51st Street. Hunters Point and Vernon Blvd. along the (7). All of the local stops on the (1) between South Ferry and 96 St. with the exception of 59 St. And all of the stops on the (1) north of 96 St. witht the exception of 168 St. Steinway St. and Northern Blvd.

66 St had a crossunder at the south end

181 & 191 both have one due to the depth of the station up there

103, 96, 68 and Canal St on the Lexington Line also have free crossovers, and Bleecker St is going to have one very soon. Also note that 86 St does NOT have a free crossover - you can not change direction there without leaving fare control or trespassing on the tracks. I believe 86/Lex and Nostrand/Fulton are the only express stations with that distinction in the system.

As for the west side - None of the Lenox side platforms have crossovers, which is why I always wait for 110 st s/b to announce the 2/3 transfer. None of the 1's local stations have them except for 59, 66, 103, 116, 125, 168-Dyckman and 242,

In the Bronx, every 4 station has a crossover/under, as do all of the Dyre stations and all of the 2 stations north of E180. 3 Av-149 St has a sealed crossunder which seriously needs to be reopened. The only stations between Jackson & E180 with crossunders are Intervale, Tremont and E180 (which also has an elevator now!). On the Pelham line, none of the underground local stations have a crossover, but all of the el stations do.

In Brooklyn, all stations have crossovers except for Hoyt, Bergen, Winthrop, Church, Beverly, Newkirk.

And for the Flushing line. Hunters Pt DOES have a free crossover. Vernon-Jackson and 40th St are the only stations which don't, and Willets Pt also loses the free crossunder during baseball games (although anybody who ends up on the wrong platform will be let in through the gate if they explain so). Note that 33 St and 46 St only have a free crossunder at the east end mezzanaine.

Donald, this is more stuff you REALLY need to know as a C/R. When customers come up to you at 110/Lex S/B and ask how they can get to the N/B side, are you telling them to ride all the way down to 59 St???

I'll let someone else handle B-Div.....

14 St on the F absolutely has a free crossunder. It's called the L train platform!

Yes, 174-5 has a mezzainine that connects to both platforms. It also has a closed entrance at the 175th St underpass underneath the track level which also connected to both tracks.

116/CPW is another one without a crossunder.
