User Posted June 23, 2012 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2012 Doesn't the LIRR do around 60 mph in the tunnel?
Fan Railer Posted June 24, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted June 24, 2012 Doesn't the LIRR do around 60 mph in the tunnel? I don't remember the speed restriction in the East River Tubes, but I feel like it's closer to 50 than not. Anyhow, M7's are designed to go up to 100 mph, so 60 isn't really a feat for those cars. ACEVE14 Posted July 1, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 1, 2012 That video was too good to be true, and funny too ROTFLMMFAORL! Imagine seeing the Train hit 55-60 mph. between the Rockaways (Beach 90th or 67th Sts and Howard Beach-JFK Airport) with an R-32 or R-160A2/R-160B (Alstom) both retro-fitted with modifications and stuff from the SIR. Me Likey!
