User Posted July 26, 2012 Share #3 Posted July 26, 2012 I updated my iMac to OSX Mountain Lion today from Snow Leopard. I've gotta say, without removing any programs, my mac runs much faster and it is very noticeable.

Quill Depot Posted July 28, 2012 Author Share #6 Posted July 28, 2012 No thanks, I have better, more reliable computers to use. I have Windows! Trust in Windows. If you are good to Windows you get no viruses.

-CT1660- Posted July 30, 2012 Share #10 Posted July 30, 2012 Ironically, my MacBook Pro runs Windows better than my any of my other PC's can, even with similar specs. On OS X (yes, there's people who build "Hackintoshes"), it just takes a simple act of stupidity and a lack of common sense to end up getting scareware (so-called malware). Funny how i've never gotten any malware issues on neither OS X or Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
YankeesPwnMets Posted August 10, 2012 Share #11 Posted August 10, 2012 But Macs get no viruses at all. And this is the reason why Hackers EASILY infect OSX these days. Simply because of users thinking that they're immune and don't protect themselves. It isn't that hard to install something free like Avast on your Mac. Look at how bad MacDefender and Flashback was. They spread like Malaria in a mosquito infested forest.
KeystoneRegional Posted August 14, 2012 Share #12 Posted August 14, 2012 As much as I wish I want to have a Mac, I've already ended up in the Windows Ecosystem, way too many softwares for Windows, and non for Mac, so I'll stick with Windows 7, not looking forward to Windows 8 though so I might stock up on few Windows 7 OEM Discs...
