Rare! R40M On The A

I believe it was an R42. They look very similar but the R40M was retired in 2009.

 

 

Agree! R42's run on the (A). We'd have to see a picture to know! Do you know the car number. R40M's are cars from 4450 to 4549.

That one is a school car actually, just not in revenue service.

Well this guy is new so he probably doesn't know all the correct names of the train's and he just needs it explained to him. When you were new you probably were confused and wanted to learn.

It's just some dude who mistook an R42 for an R40M, not that they're so hard to tell apart or anything ;) . Besides, it's common knowledge now that 99% of the R40M's are sitting dozens of feet below sea level and covered with coral.
