Mtatransit Posted July 30, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 30, 2012 Where do you get a amtrak timetable? Or do you have to memorize the time the day before
Amtrak7 Posted July 30, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2012 The system timetable book should be available at the information booth in Penn Station.

They're available at any station, unless it is an AmShack.

NX Express Posted August 19, 2012 Share #16 Posted August 19, 2012 If it's a staffed station, they have the timetables there. The unstaffed, barely-a-building stations are known as Amshacks.

Some Amshacks are just bus shelters or construction office trailers!

Thanks for the clarifications, but I've still seen some at "AmShacks" before, they're usually located on racks with Printed Papar Information on them. If the place doesn't have a rack, or something similar, there is little to no chance that there are Amtrak Timetables there. However real Amtrak stations have more chances, just sayin'!
