MHV9218 Posted July 30, 2012 Share #7 Posted July 30, 2012 Excellent shots again, definitely learning a bit from some of these pics -- had no idea that NYBS ever had O5s, and they looked good too. That old school Q66 sign did me, really good. I don't mean to be a prick, I'm just thinking I might have missed it, was there a Part 3?

NewFlyer 230 Posted July 30, 2012 Share #16 Posted July 30, 2012 What was wrong with some of those Orion sign with all these crazy fonts?
aemoreira81 Posted July 31, 2012 Share #17 Posted July 31, 2012 What was wrong with some of those Orion sign with all these crazy fonts? The 5500s (and QSC 700s) were delivered with Vultron signs before being switched to Luminator Horizons. It does seem odd that by year's end, the amount of inherited PBL buses will be down to four (the four ex-NYBS MCIs still active - 2 have left the roster). And I do miss the old schemes. Nice breaking out the vault Trevor.

NewFlyer 230 Posted August 1, 2012 Share #20 Posted August 1, 2012 The Orion V CNG's are the only Ex Private buses around. Im glad they changed those Green line Orion signs. I remember some of the Ex PBL had the black wrapping around the windows.

MTARegional Bus Posted August 1, 2012 Share #23 Posted August 1, 2012 man I wish the private bus company's didn't get sold to the MTA. but then again the DOT wasn't going to give them funds to buy new buses, shame
