SevenEleven Posted July 31, 2012 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2012 Nice catch but I think 5798 is just a loaner with their stickers slapped on. GH isn't due for buses until 6010.
paulrivera Posted July 31, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 31, 2012 Was there really an LFSA on the local Bx12? Or the B/O put a local code instead of an SBS code for the sign? (pic #2) Nice catch but I think 5798 is just a loaner with their stickers slapped on. GH isn't due for buses until 6010. If GH puts the SBS wrap on those buses (I doubt it, but still), all bets are off.

I actually rode one from Orchard Beach to Inwood-207th Street. Some of the riders thought it was a select bus until the B/O told them it was a local bus. Some local riders was actually happy that they be riding a new bus. I guess they are not used to new buses on the Bx12 local.
The Real Posted August 2, 2012 Share #8 Posted August 2, 2012 These are 2011 units, BTW and these aren't loaners, 5790-5799 are now GH assigned. The 5800s are the loaners.
