Nick Novarro-Borges, 21, was driving around west of the airport when suspicious onlookers called the police.

 

An armed man cruising through Orlando on a golf cart Tuesday night was zapped with a taser by Orlando Police for resisting arrest.

 

Nick Novarro-Borges, 21, was driving around the commercial area just west of Orlando Airport when alarmed passers-by contacted authorities to report a suspicious man on a golf cart.

 

When confronted by police, Novarro-Borges pushed an officer and ran. The officer chased him down on foot and shot him with a stun gun, reported the Orlando Sentinal.

 

Police discovered a loaded revolver on Novarro-Borges after subduing him, reported WESH.

This is not Novarro-Borges' first run-in with the the law. He was arrested in Osceola County last year and charged with possession of marijuana.

 

Novarro-Borges was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and resisting arrest without violence.

 

An Orlando police spokesman did not a return a request for comment.".
