Here are some planned service changes for May:

No 1 trains between 137th street and 242nd Street May 5-6, 12-13

No 2 and 5 trains between 149th street Grand Concourse and E 180th street May 5-6

No 4 trains between Utica Ave and New lots Ave May 5-6, 12-13, 19-20

No 6 trains between 125th street and Brooklyn bridge, 4 and 5 trains provide local service May 4-7

No J trains between Crescent street and Jamaica center May 4-7, 12-13   On May 12-13, Service change starts at 3:45PM Sat until 10PM Sun and No J trains between chambers street and broad street during this time

No F trains between Church Ave and Stillwell Av May 4-7, 11-14 

Manhattan Bound A and C trains run via the F between Jay street metro tech and W4th street May 12-13

R trains Extended to Jamaica 179th street Station May 19-20

May 5-6 can possibly be an interesting weekend. R142As on the and maybe R62As on the and . We'll see.

I agree. I think we coulds see R142As on the  and possibly R62s on the . Its a mess on the IRT mainlines that weekend.

There's a high probability of seeing some interesting car moves next weekend as well. There's no service north of 137 St-City College,  service is suspended between 149 St-Grand Concourse and 125 Street, and  trains are not running between E 180 Street and Grand Central. Also keep in mind that Livonia Yard is inaccessible that weekend as well due to track replacement between Utica Av and New Lots Av.

For the weekend of May 5-6,The only available yards (not including Moshulu and Unionport/239 for the  in the Bronx) are Westchester,137 St, and Lenox yards, the former being the only major yard available. That'll definitely be a weekend of many moves.

Overheard one of the  Shuttle guys say that to another operator. He said, more or less, "Rumor is it might get set back two weeks. The papers are amandent that it opens back on Monday. So I tell them [the passengers] service is most likely coming back Monday, but I don't not 'definitely', because then they'll scream at you for telling them the wrong info."

I'm not hearing that. I did hear someone joke about two weeks, but that was it. The information is spreading to the news more, and the G.O's are in place for over the weekend for the final prep work where even the shuttle will be replaced by a bus again.

By the way don't talk like a smart ass if you don't know what you are talking about. We had to deal with the same bs when the R179s first came in. I and a handful of others know more $#!+ than you realize. And train crews and RTOs ARE NOT RELIABLE SOURCES!!!!!

You forgot to include the overnight G.O having southbound  Trains running via 6th Avenue this upcoming week.

 

STATION IMPROVEMENTS
Coney Island-bound trains run via the from Lexington Av/63 St to 47-50 Sts and via the to DeKalb Av   

Apr 30 - May 4, Mon to Fri, from 11:45 PM to 5 AM

No Coney Island-bound service at 57 St-7 Av, 49 St, Times Sq-42 St, 28 St, 23 St, 14 St-Union Sq, 8,
Prince and Canal Sts.

For service to 57 St-7 Av, 49 St and Times Sq-42 St, use nearby 57 St, 47-50 Sts or 42 St-Bryant Pk
Stations. 

For service from these stations, take the instead. 

For 28, 23, 14, 8, Prince and Canal Sts, take the instead. 

• Transfer between and trains at DeKalb Av.

You do know these guys have more valid evidence than you do...

And do you really think some random T/O would claim the  has a delayed reopening...? They might just be joking about it, or you misheard it. And I think they were joking because on the last day of the  shuttle, I heard T/Os stating that it'll reopen on Monday. 

If it were really delayed, then it would've been shown on the MTA website, they would've made posters, etc. Anything associated with the  shuttle says Monday, whether it's posters, videos, pictures, etc.  

Just be happy that the  will finally be resuming its regular route. Period. You're just making yourself look untrustworthy and doubtful, and without any vaild proof, our argument is superior by a long shot compared to your lackadaisical claim.

This is transit, anything can change anytime. That's what I heard from numerous T/Os when I was on the yesterday, so we will see.

I'm not being rudely sarcastic. I hope you realize that lots of information come from people who don't want to be known. And I was being sarcastic with the 42nd St Shuttle for the last time. You people always pick fights with other members, wether it's the R179 assignment, R32 assignments, like dam.
