   Service restored at Eastern Pkwy-Brooklyn Museum

   ( late nights) trains stop at Eastern Pkwy-Brooklyn Museum in both directions.  

That is a northern terminal.

Looks like a pedantic explanation. The MTA might perhaps be not mentioning the because the doesn’t run on weekends. It’s like an alternate universe during the weekend when the doesn’t exist.

Except the doesn't run on weekends.  Some weekend travelers don't use the system during the week.

There is no reason for any of that . They already run 4 lines on Dekalb track from 7PM. In terms of a full time  Express track shutdown between 36 and Atlantic. That would be a problem. The only real way they can do that is build a switch from Atlantic 4th ave local to the bypass. Or perhaps send all Broadway trains  Except maybe the   via Montague and make  service every 15-20 min,

translation: We're too cheap to completely shut down the line past Parkchester to provide shuttle buses, and we know we can get away with this because Bronx people are too poor to know what's better.
