FamousNYLover Posted August 13, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 13, 2012 I am in new condo as you may know. Elevator often breaks down just like NICE Bus. Supervisor of condo is not always in front desk. What should I do if I got stuck in elevator when our supervisors are not on around. I know that I have to press ALARM button. Who does received that elevator stuck alert? Please help. P. S. I not afraid of elevator getting stuck because I once got stuck in elevator at Metropolitan Museum. In Museum case, I sounded alarm and press call/intercom which went to someone in charge. TrainFanInfinity Posted August 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 13, 2012 Elevator often breaks down just like NICE Bus. Same as me, my elevator probably breaks down at least 3/5 times a month.

In your case, in your building, there may not be somebody 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I guess I would suggest just to always carry a cell phone. Usually the elevator doesn't block out service. Orion VII 4 Life Posted August 13, 2012 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2012 Press the emergency phone. If there isn't one, call 911 and the fire department should get you out.
