Harry Posted August 16, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2012 [float=left][/float] For the second time in four months, the Red Bull Racing F1 team roared through the streets of West New York and Weehawken today at speeds close to 200 mph to prep for the Formula 1 Grand Prix of America race scheduled for June of next year. David Coulthard, former F1 Grand Prix driver and current Red Bull Racing F1 Running Show Car driver, tested sections of the proposed 3.1-mile race course to see how a high performance vehicle would react to imperfections in the roadways. Every attempt by F1 to come back to the U.S. since they left Watkins Glen (upstate!) alone in 1981 has been met with horrendous failure. Never mind how backwards automotive culture is here.
