I have a question.

last 2-3months, I'm having problem logging in to the TEN (mta-today). Is anybody having the same problem ?

So sorry for the late reply, haven't been on the forums in quite sometime. Yes the tens website can be very anysmal at times. This has been going on for years. The correct web address is www.myaccess.nyct.com . If you reach some other page while logging in, just visit another web page then navigate back to tens and it'll be on the correct page. Believe it or not TENS works much better now than it did in the past. There would be stretches of days or even weeks where you couldn't access the site smdh.

Has anyone gotten shortages and how was it dealt with ? Please elaborate... also does it affect your record far as promotions ?

Quite distraught and had a positive attitude until now... was hoping to have a pristine record but some thing's not right. Any advice much appreciated.

Shortages are just best paid on the spot. As a Station Agent you should just walk with at least $20 in your pockets everyday. Because it's very easy to give someone back an extra dollar here and there. Sending down a short bag will just have you docked the amount you were short. It doesn't go on your record. Now unless you're sending down multiple short bags then they will contact you and have you do a refresher course. Now depending on the amount of the short the situation changes. If you're more than $50-$75 short a supervisor will have to audit your booth and call in an excerpt for the shartage. That will however go on your record. Just take your time when doing transactions and don't let customers rush you. That the best advice as a supervisor I can give you.

The S/A title has no medical requirements, so in other words yes they'll hire you. In fact the S/A title is one of the main titles people get medically reclassified to, people tend to pick it more than Cleaner or Security since it pays more.
