aemoreira81 Posted September 4, 2012 Share #87 Posted September 4, 2012 Good! Save money on maintenance; I agree with this all the way. The only thing I would then do is swap O7s and O7 NGs at Stengel for QV's LFS fleet, to save money on maintenance.
SubBus Posted September 7, 2012 Share #88 Posted September 7, 2012 Saw a Nova LFS on the B6 at New Lots yesterday evening............
Grand Concourse Posted September 7, 2012 Share #89 Posted September 7, 2012 The Novas are still around, I rode one home on the B6 yesterday. It's not going to be an instant swap.

Princelex Posted September 9, 2012 Share #95 Posted September 9, 2012 All this tells me is that I better get my ass out to Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island and ride all that variety before it's too late.
Gotham Bus Co. Posted September 9, 2012 Share #96 Posted September 9, 2012 4810-4839 is being swapped out for 8030-8059. XDs to Ulmer Park for their LFSs. That is all. As long as LFS's are being moved, shouldn't they be moved to depots that already have LFSA's (for maintenance efficiencies)?
Grand Concourse Posted September 9, 2012 Share #97 Posted September 9, 2012 Then again, would it make a difference? I don't see the MTA ever going back to buying hf buses at least in the short term future. With the way UP treats their RTSs I don't think making them all hf again would be a good idea and it's good that they have new buses for a change. dmouse Posted September 9, 2012 Share #98 Posted September 9, 2012 As long as LFS's are being moved, shouldn't they be moved to depots that already have LFSA's (for maintenance efficiencies)? Good idea but none of those LFSA depots are part of the 40' NBQP program
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted September 9, 2012 Share #99 Posted September 9, 2012 Then wait for a damn 3G, RTS or a Hybrid, I don't know what else to tell you. I really don't care if a NovaLFS shows up on the Q88. Man some people are haters for no reason. Love to bring the hate on a thing so small. Broadway Local Posted September 10, 2012 Share #100 Posted September 10, 2012 New Flyer XD40 #4817 is in service on the B64 to Bath Beach around 1:45pm today at 13th Av and Bay Ridge Pkwy. I saw three LFS in a row via Avenue P today at around 2:10pm today. I saw one of them is #8038, I think the 3 LFS will be going to Queens Village.
