Dj Hammers Posted September 19, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2012 Just a little goodie from the July 1st Low-V trip. It was a pretty nice trip, fast runs, a couple trips into Nevins Spur, and not TOO many rabid, socially inept super-foamers lol Check it out:
Interested Rider Posted September 20, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2012 Your video of the Livonia "L" (or as we called it in the days "the New Lots Train") had me thinking of well over 50 years ago when I took the train to New Lots Avenue to visit my grandparents. The Lo-V trip reminded me of one of the last times I rode those cars on a Lexington Avenue Line train that originated at New Lots Avenue in the PM rush. What I remember most from those trips was riding Car # 4037 in one of the trains in the late 1950's. As the late Bob Hope used to say "Thanks for the memories" and for a job well done.
