How do I post pictures in my signature and my posts on threads?

Can someone help me on this? I want to do so, but I don't know how to do it.

I hope you can give me steps on doing that.

To paste an image in a post:

 

a. Click on the square "tree" image (located under the "Text Color" option) in the second row and copy-and-paste the link in the pop-up window.

But to paste it in a signature, there are three extra steps:

 

1. Click on your name located in the upper-right-hand corner of the screen.

 

2. Go to "My Settings"

 

3. Go to "Signatures."

 

4. There, follow step "a" exactly.

In other words, take the direct image link and just paste it in between the two image tags like this (without the space):
