RestrictOnTheHanger 287 #1 Posted September 29, 2012 Why are there home signals at the west end of Hunterspoint Ave and the east end of Vernon Jackson? As far as I'm aware there's no switch between the two stations, so it seems odd that they're there. That's just one of them, there are plenty to view along the Concourse, Eastern Pkwy and WPR segments (among others) as well. The ones on the Concourse are especially striking being that the former roadbed imprint is clearly visible. Snowblock 3,488 #6 Posted September 30, 2012 Originally those were both single crossovers. When NORTH of HP got changed to a diamond crossover, the single switch SOUTH of it was redundant.
