First Station: 14th Street-Union Square

train enters station on the uptown local track. I get on.

 

I get of train at 21st Street-Queensbridge. It's a nice and cool station so I sit there for a little while.

Via 8th Avenue? What? It would have to go to W4th and then change to 8th Avenue. Was this just a coincidence. I think the exterior sign said Via 63rd Street.

 

I get on an train heading farther into Queens.

 

Steinway Street:

 

I get off the train

 

And then I walk over the the Manhattan-bound side and wait for a Manhattan-bound train.

 

5th Avenue-53rd

 

I get off at 5th Avenue.

 

And, I tell a bunch of peeps that the exit to 5th Avenue is closed. People sigh because they have to use the Madison Avenue exit.

 

Then I get on the next train and get off at 23rd Street.

 

I walk through a cross-under that smells like urine. I wait for a train to get a picture of an R68 on the 8th Avenue Local tracks.

 

I leave the system and hop on an M23 bus.
