Is there anything different between these and the 2008 versions?? They look identical.

Plenty, 2008 vs 2012:

Luminator Horizons vs Luminator Titans (Hence the two line side sign)

CAT engine vs Cummins engine

Different seat fabrics (Hence the blue you see inside if you look closely)

Driver's Area

Lic Plate Location / New Bus Smell :P

And the other things TheHat mentioned here: http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/topic/20691-regional-bus-movestransfers/page__st__5180?do=findComment&comment=583446

Hmm yeah I did see the sign but didn't really pay attention to it. That I do like and of course new bright signage is always welcomed to those old PITA green dot signs. I hate those signs with a passion and that alone is one reason why I can't wait to see the older MCIs with that signage retired. A real strain on the eyes. I'm glad the (MTA) realized that Queens Village did indeed need new MCIs as I had stated before. Light use or not it is time for those buses to go already.
