Orion V 9441 Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1426 Posted October 4, 2014 This won't be the case for long, but the 8th avenue line is the only one where all services runs local at some point during the service day. All others have services that never run local (the , (but not for long though it is the case now), , and trains). The train runs local during the early morning, which is why this is the case until December.

RollOver Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1430 Posted October 4, 2014 North of Rockefeller Center , the local tracks come from the north and the express tracks come from the west. North of 96 St , the local tracks come from the north and the express tracks come from the east. North of 57 St-7 Av , the local tracks come from the east and the express tracks come from the north. North of 125 St , the local tracks come from the east and the express tracks come from the north.

RollOver Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1432 Posted October 4, 2014 Both Rockefeller Center and 96 St stations, because while the local tracks come from the north, the express tracks come from a different geography at both stations, respectively. There's only one odd one out. Hint: It is what you didn't name in your last explanation.
RollOver Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1434 Posted October 4, 2014 The express tracks stretch the entire length of the 8th Avenue corridor, while the local tracks end at both 174th yard and WTC...... Is it correct or not?

Is it correct or not? 8th Avenue. But not for that reason. You are very very very very very very very very... 10 hours later... very very very very very very very very very very close. MysteriousBtrain Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1437 Posted October 4, 2014 8th Avenue. But not for that reason. You are very very very very very very very very... 10 hours later... very very very very very very very very very very close. Remember we don't really need to look for the reason why you pick the line, we need to guess the right line. You can give the reason if you want, but we don't need the reason to get it right. So rollover, you can go if you want.
MTA Dude Posted October 4, 2014 Share #1438 Posted October 4, 2014 Oh my bad it is the 8th Avenue line because it is the only one where the express and local tracks don't come from different places.

RollOver Posted October 5, 2014 Share #1447 Posted October 5, 2014 Nope. Think very carefully about this one. It has nothing to do with transfers, routes nor exists.
BronxBombers Posted October 5, 2014 Share #1448 Posted October 5, 2014 Lafayette Av Clinton-Washington Av Fulton St 23 St 14 St You didn't list another Crosstown Line Station. You listed 2 6th Avenue stations and 2 Fulton St stations. So Fulton St doesn't belong?
RollOver Posted October 5, 2014 Share #1449 Posted October 5, 2014 My recent proposal is different. It's about all of them that I listed, but it has nothing to do with tracks, routes, route bullets, transfers, nor exits/entrances.
