Hurricane Sandy knocks out subways, but MTA fare-hike hearings are back on

The hearing is set for Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Brooklyn Marriott at 333 Adams St.

 

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has released four different fare-hike schemes, but the agency’s board can make changes before adopting a final package in December.

Aaaand...We are.back to hating on the MTA. Things are getting back to normal!

While they got federal help no doubt, I wonder how much money management lost during and after the storm in lost fares and tolls, systemwide.
