ex Bee Line Orion V in Jamaica Depot?

Recommended Posts

I passed by the depot about an hour ago and saw at least two ex Bee Line buses parked in the front of the lot on Merrick Blvd...Is there some kind of maintenance going on here?

Not sure it looks big enough for ~100 buses

Oh that would be neat if Jamaica starts using Orion Vs.

Yes it would be.

Queens Village lost all their Orion Vs around 2005.

No even further than that around the late 1990's is when they lost all their Orion V's but I seen sometimes a Orion V from CS on the Q17 and Q85 for regular service. This was between 2002-2006. I guess it was because of overhauls of the RTS's and JA doing subway shuttles.

The Last Orion V in Queens Village was 256 back in February 2008...

It was transferred to Casey Stengel, then sent to live out the rest of it's life at JFK till it died in 2010

I'm laughing at those last few exchanges cause ya'll are making me feel old! Here you all are finding out about Orion Vs in certain depots like it was new and unheard of while I'm here at my mom's remembering that I STILL have a photo of Orion V #93001.....the first!

The 2 Bees are now 5 bees at LGA, 139, 141, 144, 157, and 163.

So i guess LGA is getting Baisley Park's bees in exchange for their OG Hybrids?
