Rare Day: R68 (Q) and more

Recommended Posts

There was 1 set of R68 on the (Q) & (N) (2 sets total), including 2 R46 on the (F). Enjoy!

Oh, and your usual set of (7) train photos. Except with a little twist:

The latest car assignment chart says that the (F) now has 4 R46 sets http://www.thejoekor...2012-11-20.html during the rush and 2 sets during the off peak. Anyone notice if those 46s are showing up more on the (F)?

It seems like the MTA is short on R160's... Possibly damaged equipment?

And thanks everybody!

JAM returned a few R160 sets they had to CI a few months ago, thats why they have a few R46 trains on the (F) line.

Before June 26, 2011, the (F) was 100% R160s and the (N) had much more R160s than R68As. By then as Joe C said, fewer R160s were sent down to Coney Island to Jamaica to make the (N) 100% R160s like the (Q) while they put 3-4 sets of R46s back on the (F).
