Work history from Social Security Administration

I've read on these forums that to be as accurate as possible, I should get my work history from the social security administration. I did, and my work study jobs were nowhere to be found. I didn't have to pay taxes for them, which is why my work study jobs were not listed in my work history from the social security administration, even though I filled out W2s and other related forms for those jobs. Is this common, or was the way my teller handle my request for my full work history incorrect? These work study jobs were for $1,500 a semester, maximum.
