Amtrak7 Posted December 23, 2012 Share #26 Posted December 23, 2012 So is this Q30 change a mid-route diversion or a short turn with a separate terminal?
checkmatechamp13 Posted December 23, 2012 Share #27 Posted December 23, 2012 It sounds like it's a short-turn. (It says 56th & 223rd is the last stop)
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted December 23, 2012 Share #28 Posted December 23, 2012 Is anybody waiting for the bus yet? LMAO! I have to laugh because I could see some idiots doing just that...

User Posted December 24, 2012 Share #30 Posted December 24, 2012 Q27 with more space yay MTA. What are you talking about? The Q30 goes to Jamaica and the Q27 goes to Cambria Heights, two completely different areas. That statement doesn't make any sense.
Quill Depot Posted December 24, 2012 Share #31 Posted December 24, 2012 Wow... It does make sense though!

Via Garibaldi 8 Posted December 24, 2012 Share #33 Posted December 24, 2012 What about the X17 since it comes out of Charleston on weekends, will the X17 now come out of Yukon on weekends. Also, why is Charleston Depot closing on weekends? More than likely it will... I don't see this as a big deal because before Charleston was open and Meredith opened, Castleton and Yukon were still the two depots handling all of the buses so it isn't like this wasn't happening before. This doesn't make too much sense to me Makes perfect sense... Even though Charleston and Meredith have opened Yukon and Castleton are still the two big depots on Staten Island and they still handle the bulk of the routes. What will really be interesting is when Castleton is closed for rehabilitation. They should just tear that damn depot down. Hideous looking to say the least. (It says 56th & 223rd is the last stop) It seems like a short-turn to me as well. I don't think there will be any buses directly from QCC to Little Neck. B35 via Church Posted December 24, 2012 Share #35 Posted December 24, 2012 Q27 with more space yay MTA. Nothing's being taken away from that bus pickup/dropoff area inside QCC, if that's what you're referring to.....

User Posted December 26, 2012 Share #42 Posted December 26, 2012 I wonder how the guide a ride and map schedule will look for the new Q36. I was thinking the map would be a solid line between Jamaica and Floral Park, then a dashed line between Floral Park and Little Neck to symbolize part-time service. BM5 via Woodhaven Posted December 26, 2012 Share #43 Posted December 26, 2012 The Q36 is gonna be the M31 of Queens LOL

It would probably be one of those lighter lines with the hollowed out inside in that portion.
User Posted December 27, 2012 Share #45 Posted December 27, 2012 The Q36 is gonna be the M31 of Queens LOL Yea, it would look kinda like that, but the Q36 won't serve the whole route full time like the M31. It would probably be one of those lighter lines with the hollowed out inside in that portion. Maybe..

Threxx Posted December 27, 2012 Share #47 Posted December 27, 2012 Speaking of Q36, where is Q79 sign? The Q36 is replacing the Q79... It would probably be one of those lighter lines with the hollowed out inside in that portion. If it's weekdays only, they'd use the pentagon symbol... User Posted December 27, 2012 Share #48 Posted December 27, 2012 Speaking of Q36, where is Q79 sign? The Q36 is replacing the Q79... And the Q36 signs are up along Little Neck Pkwy (see the pic I posted above)!

User Posted December 29, 2012 Share #50 Posted December 29, 2012 Just wondering, did some of the old Q79 drivers get laid off in 2010 or were they placed on other routes out of QV?
