GojiMet86 Posted December 22, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted December 22, 2012 Was OPTO not yet in effect when these videos were taken? All trains stopped at the OPTO marker, but the R32 definitely did not go OPTO. Now the first R46 I saw leaving had both ends covered, but other people's videos show that at some point it only had one person.

ttcsubwayfan Posted December 25, 2012 Share #11 Posted December 25, 2012 Where did those R46s come from? I'd presume Pitkin yard, seeing as the being cut back to Howard has freed up some cars.
eaw3c1 Posted December 27, 2012 Share #12 Posted December 27, 2012 How did they get them down there. They would have to put them on a truck.
ttcsubwayfan Posted December 28, 2012 Share #13 Posted December 28, 2012 How did they get them down there. They would have to put them on a truck. You've already asked this in the Rockaway Line reconstruction thread, but one track of the flats has been mended enough that a diesel car can tow the cars down to the Rockaways for service. No power or signals as of yet, so there will be no service across them yet.
