Sam Posted December 23, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2012 With the mad rush to do last-minute holiday shopping, which lines would you recommend? I would start off with the ; it has the following: Metro Mall at Metropolitan Avenue Myrtle Avenue business district in Ridgewood Knickerbocker Avenue (lots of mom and pop shops) Flushing Avenue Essex and Delancey Streets Broadway-Lafayette Street (SOHO) West 4th Street 14th Street Herald Square Fifth Avenue-53rd Street Steinway Street Grand Avenue Woodhaven Blvd. (Queens Center Mall) 63rd Drive Rego Park I'm sure there's a lot more! RFC Posted December 23, 2012 Share #3 Posted December 23, 2012 I sometimes wish the holiday train did the full route instead of terminating at Queens Plaza and 2nd Avenue but that is only a crazy dream or something as I don't see that happen anytime in the near future. The does have a lot of shopping areas on the route on the weekend shuttle and the full length Weekday service ya got Knickerbocker Avenue, Metropolitan Avenue,Myrtle and Wyckoff avenue's, Flushing avenue, Essex Street, 14th Street, 34th Street, 42nd Street, Steinway Street, and Woodhaven Blvd (might be missing something) There is also the That takes you up along 14th street and the and to kings hwy I'm sure there is more.
