Please help me identify a bus

Recommended Posts

I was playing around on Google Streetview looking at various subway lines and I came across Broad Channel station. When I scrolled to the end of W8 Street there is a yard with a couple of buses in it. The bus looks like an MC9 to me, but I am unsure because it has a pusher axle. As far as I know all MCI's have a lazy axle. I then thought is must be an Eagle, but something doesn't look quite right to me.

Maybe someone can have a look and see if I am anywhere near the mark. Thanks

Yes, it's difficult, because in the end, the Eagle was coming to look almost the same as the MCI. In that Street View photo, you can't really see the front, which is where it remained most different, but the giveaway is the space in the very rear behind the last window. In the MCI, the space is much smaller, and the restrooms had that window, while in the Eagle, the restroom always had its own small window, and the bulkhead was aligned with the wall separating it from the main cabin.

also, in the future, if you are arent sure how to link to a website or whatever, you could always take a screenshot and link to that
