Aussieinuk Posted December 25, 2012 Share #1 Posted December 25, 2012 I was playing around on Google Streetview looking at various subway lines and I came across Broad Channel station. When I scrolled to the end of W8 Street there is a yard with a couple of buses in it. The bus looks like an MC9 to me, but I am unsure because it has a pusher axle. As far as I know all MCI's have a lazy axle. I then thought is must be an Eagle, but something doesn't look quite right to me. Maybe someone can have a look and see if I am anywhere near the mark. SevenEleven Posted December 26, 2012 Share #4 Posted December 26, 2012 Looks like an Eagle Coach. I don't know the particular model but this should help out: http://ttmg.org/pages/eagle/eagleways-eagle.html
Aussieinuk Posted December 26, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted December 26, 2012 Looks like an Eagle Coach. I don't know the particular model but this should help out: http://ttmg.org/page...ways-eagle.html Thanks for that. Looking at it again makes me think it is an Eagle 15. We only had 05 and 10 series in Australia, and they were are rare as ocean going tadpoles.
Eric B Posted December 26, 2012 Share #6 Posted December 26, 2012 Yes, it's difficult, because in the end, the Eagle was coming to look almost the same as the MCI. In that Street View photo, you can't really see the front, which is where it remained most different, but the giveaway is the space in the very rear behind the last window. In the MCI, the space is much smaller, and the restrooms had that window, while in the Eagle, the restroom always had its own small window, and the bulkhead was aligned with the wall separating it from the main cabin.
