Due to signal problems at the 14th Street-Union Square Station, there is no (4), (5), and (6) train service in both directions between the Grand Central-42nd Street Station and the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall Station.

Stations being bypassed: 33rd Street, 28th Street, 23rd Street, 14th Street-Union Square, Astor Place, Bleecker Street, Spring Street and Canal Street.

As an alternate, customers are advised to take the nearby (1), (2), (3), (N) and (R) trains.

Also, due to emergency track work at the 79th Street Station, selected Brooklyn College-bound (2) trains are running on the (5) line from the 149th Street-Grand Concourse Station to the Nevins Street Station.

Please expect delays in service on the (2), (4), (5) and (6) trains at this time.:(

That's over now. The East side of Manhattan was a real mess. (4)(5)(6) lines are like the main artery of the East Side. If those lines don't work properly, it's like Manhattan's in chaos.

JUST GOT BACK FROM UNION SQ. The (6) is still suspened or ruunning with hefty delays
