overclocked Posted January 1, 2013 Author Share #9 Posted January 1, 2013 Excellent Photos!!! That 46 F at Neptune came out fine, didn't a tele lens (everyone does that shot zoomed in lol) Even in the system that vast, there ought to be "sweet" spots such as this. This photo is 1:1 crop, I would rather prefer few more mms on the long end than to crop though.

In Toronto, there is a decent amount of standing room at either end of the station and the NYC arrangement leaves much to be desired!

That platform arrangement is indeed leaves one to desire more, especially on the older stations where columns are too close to the edge, coincidentally those platforms are the shortest. I haven't had any real troubles at terminal stations or on the IND (partially because the is 8 cars but even so) but the IRT leaves much to be desired. My New Year's Resolution: learn how to take motion shots underground. Should come in handy

My New Year's Resolution: learn how to take motion shots underground. Should come in handy There isn't much to learn, you need a bright lens, low noise sensor and fast shutter speed. Panning is another way, though hard to achieve in most of the stations. Well I guess there's a first time for everything.... Hate to say that, but shooting "old" express buses (or any buses for that matter) isn't on my new year's resolutions list.
ttcsubwayfan Posted January 1, 2013 Share #18 Posted January 1, 2013 ... I use a dinky P&S so there is much to learn. But I learned night photography so...
