jgood6195 Posted January 6, 2013 #1 Posted January 6, 2013 I had a crazy ass dream about 9/11/2001. The only think was, the towers had somehow caused most of lower manhattan to be leveled. Explosions and smoke clouds were everywhere. Have anyone ever had crazy dreams about this?

B35 via Church Posted January 6, 2013 #8 Posted January 6, 2013 Can't say that I have, no.... Hell, I seldom remember what I dream about anyway.... Once I wake up, it's reality-facing time.
realizm Posted January 7, 2013 #9 Posted January 7, 2013 Dreams to me are simply a sub-conscious reflection of processes going on in the brain. It has been medically proven that the brain can solve complex problems concerning life, schoolwork, job assignments etc. while you sleep. In fact as you dream..... We emotionally and physically heal and rejuvenate while we sleep. That's why we have dreams. Anything beyond that is going into the supernatural.
MHV9218 Posted January 12, 2013 #10 Posted January 12, 2013 @Realizm: Well put. I rarely dream / remember my dreams, but the past few weeks every night I've been having a dream where I live out the previous day in some sort of parallel reality, in which I made all different decisions from how I actually acted. I've just had these exact representations of the scenarios I've been in, only each time in the dream I make the opposite choice from what I did in real life. It's actually been kind of helpful, been able to use the subconscious to help analyze the course of action for the day-to-day conscious. Exactly as you put it, basically.
