I spoke to Joe Gibson, NABI bid the GEN III, as the RFP called out a steel frame, and NFI went ultra low on this one.  When the option comes up  in 2015, the 40' composite (Metro 40C) can then be bid against the XN40.  The XN40 was definitely in Phoenix, so look for those in 2015 !

I just hope they can stand up to the test....the compobus is king out there in L.A.

Granted, but the Compo's are in a class of their own. I'm looking this mainly as just another transit bus. Hopefully they won't age as much as the LFW's.

 

Now, an LFS CNG in the Local, or even better, the Rapid scheme. Damn, now that would be a nice fit for LA.
