ttcsubwayfan Posted January 17, 2013 Share #7 Posted January 17, 2013 Nice pics! The train car appears to have a railfan window. As I doubt the Franklin Avenue cars would have any need to head up there, are there any 4-car units with the railfan view at the end of the set for whatever reason? Grand Concourse Posted January 18, 2013 Share #11 Posted January 18, 2013 Nice pics! The train car appears to have a railfan window. As I doubt the Franklin Avenue cars would have any need to head up there, are there any 4-car units with the railfan view at the end of the set for whatever reason? well though the Franklin s is comprised of single cars, none of the trains ever runs with the partial cab on the ends of the train. Afaik, there are no b division 4 car sets with a rfw.

ttcsubwayfan Posted January 19, 2013 Share #14 Posted January 19, 2013 The door to the cab was open I didn't consider that... thanks! well though the Franklin s is comprised of single cars, none of the trains ever runs with the partial cab on the ends of the train. Afaik, there are no b division 4 car sets with a rfw. I figured they might have assembled a set with the partial cab on one end in the yard, had it been a Franklin single.
