Delta Increases Services between Dublin and the U.S. this summer

Recommended Posts

Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is boosting capacity this summer between Ireland and the United States operating additional service between Dublin and New York. The new service which compliments Delta’s existing year round Dublin to New York service will be operated by a B767-400 ER aircraft three times per week effective 18 June through to 29 August.

“The United States continues to be a popular destination for Irish holidaymakers and this additional service will offer passengers more travel options to a wide range of destinations throughout the States,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We also look forward to supporting inbound tourism by transporting thousands more visitors to Ireland from the U.S., boosting the local economy.”

In addition to the extra weekly frequency on the route, Delta will fly its daily Dublin to New York service over the summer period with a larger B767-300 ER aircraft replacing its B757-200 aircraft. The two B767 aircraft will provide additional cargo space.

“Throughout the summer we will be offering more seats on this route and an unrivaled network. Customers travelling from Dublin benefit from convenient connections via New York to popular destinations such Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It also provides added flexibility for freight fowarders,” added Cantarutti.
