Fresh Pond Posted February 10, 2013 #1 Posted February 10, 2013 Ask anyone who is with me taking pictures, that's my motto. Don't need to take a bunch of pictures of the same thing and choose the best one (too time consuming) ...anywho, caught this while I was getting off work. Just think you saw nothing but these 10 years ago, now they hard to find...
MattTrain Posted February 10, 2013 #2 Posted February 10, 2013 I see at least one or two everyday, hehe! Great catch, I do agree they're hard to find nowadays.
B36 Via Ave U Posted February 10, 2013 #3 Posted February 10, 2013 Great shot, 934 runs really well and 10 years ago, try 2010-2011 C40's dominated Gleason then too, I do also have good luck with these but its a shame there are only 17 left, they should have kept a lot more, they pre-maturely retired a good amont of these.
User Posted February 10, 2013 #4 Posted February 10, 2013 Great catch. How come they're selling these buses but with the other old buses, the sends those to Eastchester?

Just think you saw nothing but these 10 years ago, now they hard to find... Actually, back in 2002-2003, JG also had 1993 TMC RTS's #8513-8566 and 1994-1995 Orion V CNGs # 317, and #581-610.
4P3607 Posted February 10, 2013 #6 Posted February 10, 2013 Those and the Orion V CNGs are now becoming hard to come by, I miss 801 on the Q38. By any chance is 874 still alive? That was the best C40 ive ever rode.

B36 Via Ave U Posted February 10, 2013 #8 Posted February 10, 2013 874 died not too long ago, only like 2 months and that was a damn good C40.
mtattrain Posted February 11, 2013 #12 Posted February 11, 2013 Nice find! Glad to see these running still (and in to 2014)!
