Both pictured buses still have stripes on the doors (not shown)

 

4407 painted the new way on the Bx7 with white above the stripe

 

3852 painted the new way on layover but with black above on the stripe (like 4702)

When did you get that last shot?i was at cooper union(the founders buliding is the tan one in the background)on saturday and i thought i saw this bus.

Thought so, cause the whole door side of that bus still has the original paint and numbering. That's the third coat of paint for the front and rear. Can't figure out why they redid the stripes on the back along the grilles though.

At Cooper Union at 17:37 (don't let the light fool you; it was near pitch black - the ISO is 5000) on Sunday evening. I was hoping to catch 3894, but it was parked for the day.
