Harry Posted August 13, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted August 13, 2007 How was traffic heading to Lakewood? Not that bad at all. The only problem was the damn Belt Parkway but after that it was smooth sailing.

Harry Posted August 15, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted August 15, 2007 I was surprised myself to see the crossing gates go up when the train comes to a full stop at the station. I figured the gates would stay down just in case of an accidental roll or something.

Harry, The Crossing gates in Matawan at the station have a delay which allows them to go up when the train is on the platform. When the train leaves the station the conductor has a key which he uses to activate the gates. Eric
