So your saying 8017 Was rebuilt in stages at different service centers?

The NovaBus plant upstate is where the bus itself was built. The Prevost service center in Jersey is where incoming Prevost/NovaBus buses to before they get shipped to Zerega.

After going up in a blaze of glory, it got towed back to Castleton for investigation. After getting the all-clear it went upstate to get fixed, then shipped to the service center for the final go-around, then to Zerega to get re-registered (still had the old plates) and finally shipped to QV to hit service.

Is it going to last longer than the other 2011 models then?

Logically they wouldn't since it has thousands of less miles under it's belt, but knowing them they'll still scrap it with the others when the time comes.

Way too early to tell, they barely reached half their useful lifespan

Would there be a way that would have been possible to salvage 1205?

If they really are in that need of the bus and are frugal about it, they can take the back half of 5299 (the one that went head-first into a building) and mate it to the front half of 1205 and make a "new" bus, like what they did to 5656/5658.

But since we have artics coming in, there's really no need for either bus and they'll be written off.

everybody please view the list before saying that buses have been repainted. I have noticed that some units that have been repainted months ago are listed as freshly repainted because someone failed to realize that it was already listed. This can result in mis-information given out because a fresh repaint bus is in red text.

I totally agree however there are many cases where repainted buses get into accidents. Eventually after a part is replaced, if it's not a lower impact panel on a New Flyer the whole bus will be repainted again.
