Pablo M 201 Posted June 15, 2007 Share #3 Posted June 15, 2007 The way the Yankees and Mets have been playing lately, looks like the Yankees are going to take at least 2 out of 3 from the Mets. Long live the train! Lets go Yanks!!!!!

Pablo M 201 Posted June 16, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 16, 2007 Mets take one game. They break the Yankees nine game winning streak. Well, I should've expected that with the match up of Roger Clemens and Oliver Perez. But lets see with today's match up of Tommy Glavine and Tyler Clippard. Its pretty hard to call this one, and as much as I'm a Yankee fan, I have alot of respect for Tommy Glavine cause he is one of the best around, even though it didn't look that a few years ago, but he has proved himself, and Tyler Clippard is getting off to a good start. BTW, Clippard got his first Major League win against the Mets....
Harry Posted June 16, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted June 16, 2007 Personally I'm a fan of both teams although I am rooting a little more for the Mets. I think its their time to win a championship.

Pablo M 201 Posted June 18, 2007 Share #8 Posted June 18, 2007 You were right on the money! Of course I was. But it was surprising that El Duque was getting that beating last night, I thought it was going to be close with that match-up of him and Chien Ming Wang. Aqueduct Posted October 16, 2009 Share #14 Posted October 16, 2009 I'm so happy a site like the one in this link exists. Too bad this forum does not date back to the 80's, I would exume old threads about Hall and Oates and Members Only jackets. Boy that would be awesome. EE Broadway Local Posted October 17, 2009 Share #16 Posted October 17, 2009 The Yankees win Game 1 4-1. Unfortunately, the Angels commit three errors on a chilly night at the Stadium. C.C. Sabathia pitches eight nice innings - four hits, one walk, one earned run with seven strikeouts. Super Mo pitches a nice ninth inning to complete the game. C.C. is 2-0 in the postseason after going 19-8 in the regular season. A-Rod went 1-2 (.500) and The Captain went 2-3 (.400). Hideki Matsui had a nice Game 1 going 2-3 (.667).
