Kingsbridge Bus Posted October 26, 2012 Share #276 Posted October 26, 2012 I saw about 12 buses this morning with exterior bus time ads on many different models on Bx routes
Quill Depot Posted October 26, 2012 Share #277 Posted October 26, 2012 Shouldn't it be NYCT Bus Time, MTA Bus does not operate any depot's in the Bronx.

NewFlyer 230 Posted October 26, 2012 Share #279 Posted October 26, 2012 Shouldn't it be NYCT Bus Time, MTA Bus does not operate any depot's in the Bronx. ECH and Yonkers, what about the Bx23 and Q50. All depots are getting it because reliability is an issue for both NYCT and MTA bus routes.
transit bx Posted October 26, 2012 Share #280 Posted October 26, 2012 Shouldn't it be NYCT Bus Time, MTA Bus does not operate any depot's in the Bronx. Eastchester and yonkers is apart of the bronx division which also will receive MTA bus time.

NewFlyer 230 Posted October 27, 2012 Share #282 Posted October 27, 2012 What about Eastchester and Yonkers? You need to read my friend. We just said that EVERY route is getting MTA bustime even all MTA buses. That is why they put the guide a rides up.
User Posted October 27, 2012 Author Share #283 Posted October 27, 2012 Shouldn't it be NYCT Bus Time, MTA Bus does not operate any depot's in the Bronx. Most people look for the logo when they think of public transportation. Bus Time is written like "MTA Bus Time" not "MTA Bus" Time, if you know what I mean! qjtransitmaster Posted October 27, 2012 Share #284 Posted October 27, 2012 I hope it come Queens and Manhattan soon Realistically queens and brooklyn. Manhattan not anytime soon buddy not as serious in manhattan as in say queens or brooklyn.
qjtransitmaster Posted October 27, 2012 Share #285 Posted October 27, 2012 Queens will be the last ones to get it. No real info to back it up l, just gut feeling. Queens isn't getting it till dec 2013, maybe. I don't think so more than likely Manhattan would be last to get it as Queens and Brooklyn to a lesser extent need it more and have problems that are in urgent need of attention and are much more bus dependent than Manhattan. Snowblock Posted October 27, 2012 Share #288 Posted October 27, 2012 BusTime is ALREADY working. October 30 is when it will be added to mta.info.
NewFlyer 230 Posted October 27, 2012 Share #289 Posted October 27, 2012 What do you mean? There are plenty of bunching and late or MIA runs in Manhattan. Every subway route except the G runs in Manhattan so it isn't that bad in Manhattan plus you have express buses from every borough. Brooklyn gets a little more subway coverage than Queens, but its spread out. In Queens the whole eastern part is not covered.
Quill Depot Posted October 27, 2012 Share #290 Posted October 27, 2012 Eastchester and yonkers is apart of the bronx division which also will receive MTA bus time. I see... I thought it was only NYCT depots. Sorry for the mistake.

MHV9218 Posted October 27, 2012 Share #295 Posted October 27, 2012 Little annoyed they left off the M100...they've got all the equipment to do it when it comes to the KB fleet, and it's a Bronx division route to boot. Would have helped me out, but oh well. Some of these buses seem a little off, like 1262 which is listed as running on the Bx15 at 127th while I'm pretty sure it's actually only sitting in the lot for 126. Still, good service to have! EDIT: Scratch that, they do have the M100, somebody just forgot to list it.

We had this convo. earlier... Buses like the M100 will have Bus Time because they're out of Kingsbridge Depot... I thought the same thing... That it was only for the Bronx, but it is basically any bus out of a Bronx Depot.

Exactly...which I was annoyed when I saw the list of routes (http://bustime.mta.info/wiki/Help/Routes) didn't include the M100. But it turns out that's just a mistake, they do have the route.
