Could it have been possible that some of those cars could have had their end windows and cabs retained for push pull service a'la NJ Transit Arrow1/Comet 1B cars? Yes but the GP38-2's and MP15AC's didnt have HEP is reason why LIRR bought old ALCO and EMD F units and converted them into HEP cab cars. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
