Just like most of us in here,not excited at all. Although the summer olympics is better than the winter olympics. I am only going to watch softball and some womens gymnastics. Bah,preseason football is more exciting then the summer olympics.

i think it was a very nice show, i loved how everything was so coordinated, they really must had a lot of practice

Yeah, that was a great show. And all the actors/actresses were on their own. No markings or cues whatever. That's something Americans can't do.

The opening ceremony except for 2 things, they shoould not have the countries in order of the country's chinese characters, they should have more languages from the MC instead of MAndarian, Cantonese, and English.

That was the way they chose to enter the countries. It makes sense to me.

It's French, English, and Mandarin. The official languages of the host country and the IOC. Mandated.

The United States Basketball team beats China today, wow 101-70. What a game. US Women sweep the medal games, cool. First Gold Medal for US in Fencing. Michael Phelps wins his first gold medal in the games in swimming.

 

 

 

 

China has 6 golds,2 silver, no bronze = 8 total medals.

USA has 2 golds,2 silver,4 bronze = 8 total medals.

Korea has 3 golds, 2 silver, 0 bronze = 5 total medals

Italy has 1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze = 4 total medals

Russia has no golds, 3 silver, 1 bronze = 4 total medals

That was great. Michael Phelps, Cullen Jones, Jason Lezak, Garrett Weber Gale were just awesome. And speaking of swimming, the US Team can't win a medal these days in diving....

Baseball, Softball, Basketball, swimming, soccer, water polo, and gymnastics are the fun parts of these games... Oh and some tennis action too.
