Minato ku Posted April 15, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 15, 2013 This is very interesting ! The kind of pictures we don't see often and it is impressive to see that all of this is done without a complete closure of the line thanks to the four tracks. Brighton Local Posted April 16, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted April 16, 2013 Cool pics! Thank you! Great stuff! Thanks! This is very interesting ! The kind of pictures we don't see often and it is impressive to see that all of this is done without a complete closure of the line thanks to the four tracks. Thank you! Exactly. Track Panel replacement is a bit more complex on an EL, rather than normal ballasted roadbed. And yes, with 4 Tracks available, service can continue unaffected. Now if more then 1 track was undergoing the same reconstruction. The would have most likely been terminating at Kings Highway all weekend. Great ones! How frequently are tracks replaced doe? Thanks! Tracks usually last 20-25 years before replacement. This track was most likely last replaced in the early 90s . nice shots Thanks! Nice Brighton Beach track construction coverage!
