Union Tpke Posted May 26, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted May 26, 2013 No, real copies of the maps. Those are nice redos but I would like scans of actual subway maps, like in older threads.

Guest Lance Posted June 2, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 2, 2013 Ask and ye shall receive. Eventually. Let me preface this by saying these aren't my scans. I just downloaded them over the years and unfortunately don't remember where and who I got these from. 1979 1980 1983 1987 1988 1989 1990 1992 1993 1994 1995 2000 EDIT 15:47: You know, I'm really starting to dislike photobucket. These scans were of much higher quality than is available online.

bobtehpanda Posted June 2, 2013 Share #7 Posted June 2, 2013 Those station boxes with the bus numbers were a complete disaster...
sovetskii52 Posted June 3, 2013 Share #8 Posted June 3, 2013 Great maps. I wonder how Coney Island supported six services in the early 80s. The older maps look more informative too. Especially with the Express service.

Union Tpke Posted June 3, 2013 Author Share #11 Posted June 3, 2013 Thanks, I really appreciate it. I think the MTA should bring back the old strip maps and revert to the old style maps. What services from then do you want them to bring back. Lance, thanks again.
Eric B Posted June 4, 2013 Share #12 Posted June 4, 2013 Great maps. I wonder how Coney Island supported six services in the early 80s. The older maps look more informative too. Especially with the Express service. It wasn't six services at a time. IT was still for the most part four; as the was off hours only, and the M was weekdays, with the ‹Q› or QB as a rush hour special of redesignated M's. Guest Lance Posted June 4, 2013 Share #13 Posted June 4, 2013 I think I know who. That's right. Some of them did come from this site before the hack and switchover to the new forum last year. Thanks for reminding me.
Union Tpke Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share #14 Posted June 4, 2013 Does anyone have a 1985 and/or 1988, 1989 map? Thanks again!
bobtehpanda Posted June 5, 2013 Share #15 Posted June 5, 2013 Completely unrelated to "old" subway map scans, but does anyone know if a good quality scan/PDF of the 2008 Vignelli map exists? (The one they're using for Weekender, for clarification).
GojiMet86 Posted June 5, 2013 Share #16 Posted June 5, 2013 I got 1995, 1997, with some service changes (don't remember which one), 1998 or 1999 with the Williamsburg Bridge changes, and everything else after that.
