Thanks. The cars that are out are in another location where I do not know

In order to celebrate the re-opening of the Rockaway Peninsula to the main line, NYC Transit decided to run an 8-car R1/R9 Nostalgia Train as the first train for passenger service. In order to do this, just like for the Holiday Nostalgia Train, they had to borrow the arnines from the museum (100, 484 and 1575) in order to make a full 8-car train. From reading other topics on this site, NYC Transit has ran several test trains down to the Rockaways to make sure nothing would happen. More information can be obtained by going to http://new.mta.info/train-service-restored-rockaways.

In addition, for those that have a facebook account, if you go to https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=377765432335307&set=gm.10152909793660249&type=1&relevant_count=1&ref=nfhttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=377765455668638&set=gm.10152909793660249&type=1&relevant_count=2&ref=nf and https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=377765502335300&set=gm.10152909793660249&type=1&relevant_count=3&ref=nf, you will see the cars at the 207th Street Shop, primarily with R7A 1575 inside being worked on. From looking at these pictures, my educated guess is that the crew found a problem with this car. As soon as they get it fixed, it should be in the museum shortly after.
